In the final years of a long career in software, my mother decided to take up Tai Chi. She traveled to China, immersed herself in classes and training, and never stopped. Today, at 72, she still practices every day and from 2015 to now has been teaching several groups of students in Uruguay. Over the years, I have photographed her doing what she loves, partly to help promote her classes, but mostly as an excuse to spend time with her — a quiet way of documenting a passion that found her later in life.
